Our staff at Floyd T. Binns Middle School celebrated an underground Spirit Day for Mario Day (March 10)! Inspired by the classic Super Mario games, teachers dressed up in their best Mario-themed outfits—complete with overalls, hats, and mustaches—to bring some fun and nostalgia to the school day.

It was a great way to build school spirit, share a few laughs, and remind our students that learning can be an adventure. Thanks to our amazing staff for always finding creative ways to make school fun!

A group of nine adults pose together on a staircase inside a school building decorated with colorful educational murals and a sign reading “Welcome to Floyd T. Binns Middle School.” Several people are dressed as characters inspired by the Mario video game series, wearing red hats with an “M,” overalls, and fake mustaches. Others wear black graphic T-shirts. The group smiles toward the camera, and one person holds a small red mushroom prop. The setting appears to be a school hallway with railings and bright artwork in the background.

Double the kindness, double the fun! 💙
Our staff showed their spirit during Kindness Week by dressing up for Twin Day—because spreading kindness is even better when you do it together! From matching outfits to big smiles, this was a great reminder that small acts of kindness make a big difference.

Today, we celebrated Day 100 of school by going way back in time! Staff (and students!) dressed like 100-year-olds to mark the occasion—canes, gray hair, and all—while still keeping it comfy with jeans. It was a fun way to celebrate 100 days of learning, laughter, and memories.
