Students in S. Heaney’s fourth grade class are wrapping up their scientific investigations unit by conducting a lab. Yesterday, students did qualitative and quantitative measurements of a gummy bear. Today, they soaked them in different solutions to see which one made the gummy bear grow the largest!

While many kindergartners and preschoolers experienced their first day of elementary school today, so did our very own Mr. Conville. Mr. Conville joins us after many successful years at Culpeper Middle School, where he built strong relationships with students, families, and staff while fostering a positive school culture. With a passion for student success and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment, Mr. Conville brings both experience and enthusiasm to his new role. We’re excited to have him join our team and look forward to the great things ahead!
