Our 6th grade health and P.E. students had a great time with the Harlem Wizards on Thursday before the big game that night.
Join us at EV Saturday for our fall festival. The kids have done such a great job planning and organizing this FREE event. Hayrides, petting zoo, make and take keychains, commodity art, and edible soil horizons, a pumpkin patch, create your own caramel apples and milking demonstrations with a live dairy cow and more!! Don’t spend an arm and a leg at the pumpkin patch, bring the kiddos out and support all of our county FFA chapters including our very own FTB chapter.
On Weds. October 18 2023, 24 members of the FTBMS Blackhawk Choir participated in the District 13 Middle School Honors Choir Auditions at Louisa County High School. It was followed by a lunch celebration at McDonald's for their bravery in auditioning individually before judges for the first time since Covid.
The funtastic and high-flying Harlem Wizards are coming to town! This Thursday, October 19th! Come support Eastern View's Athletic programs and watch CCPS teachers, administrators and school resource officers take on the Wizards! See the flyer for more information!
Our FTB choir performed an A Cappella concert last Wednesday at EV with EVHS choirs and Madison Project (A Cappella group) from James Madison University. Elliott Davis, now at JMU, conducted the group. He graduated from EVHS and was a former Blackhawk Edition member! An alum that is flying high!

Select art students of FTB participated in the Second Annual Culpeper Arts Festival, held at the new Jewell Tone Music and Art Gallery. If you didn’t get the opportunity to attend, there will be another art show in March, with even more student work!
We had the privilege of having Mt. Kim Martial Arts instructors come to our school today to teach students some Taekwondo and self defense moves during P.E.

Select art students will be participating in the Culpeper Arts Festival this Saturday at the Jewell Tone Music and Art Gallery Center. If you wish to attend, tickets must be purchased, with proceeds benefiting the gallery. There is a family of 4 pack for $25, adult general admission is $10, kids 6-12 are $5, and 5 and under are free.Tickets can be purchased on the Jewell Tone website and at the door. Due to potential impacts from the impending tropical storm, all CCPS activities scheduled for Saturday, September 23, 2023 and Sunday, September 24, 2023 will be canceled.
Friday night activities will continue as scheduled.

The basketball game at Louisa scheduled for Thursday, September 14th, has been rescheduled for Monday Sept.18 at Louisa at 4:30pm.
Due to the excessive heat this week, our football game with Walker Grant has been rescheduled for Monday Sept.18 at 4:30 at Walker Grant.
