Our FTB students represented themselves well at the Art show last Saturday. Thank you to Ms. Poyer for assisting with the set-up and congratulations to all artists who had work displayed!





Congratulations to the FTBMS Concert Band for receiving straight SUPERIOR ratings at District Concert Assessment this past weekend! This is the highest possible rating that can be achieved. Very proud of each student who worked so hard toward this performance! Congratulations!


Ms. Vega’s intro to Agriscience class spent the day outside preparing the garden beds for the planting season. One garden bed was filled with carrots so they got to take some home!




Come on out to the Teachers Vs Law Enforcement Basketball Game! It will be Friday, March 10th, at EVHS and starts at 7PM. The cost is $5 at the door. All proceeds go to support the Culpeper Youth Sports Camp. There will also be a half court contest and school mascots.

Come see our students' wonderful artwork that will be on display in our county's art show at Germanna College Saturday March 4th from 11-3 and March 5th from 11-2! It's going to be a fun time!


Tonight, the School Board presented ZAPP awards to @ccpsftb students Kendall Bopp and Lane Naccarato for publishing books through the Leap for Literacy program. They were 2 of 5 students in the nation selected for publication and theiir books are available on Amazon!



Mrs. Zakielarz' Spanish Classes had a great time reading stories with the Kindergarten classes over at Sycamore Park Elementary this week!

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, February 20th from 11:00-6:00 pm. There is no school for students. If you would like to schedule a conference, please call the school at (540) 829-6894, between the hours of 9:00 am-2:00 pm, and select option 3. Time slots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.


FTB will have a Spirit Night on Monday, January 30th at Little Caesars Pizza from 4pm-8pm. Grab dinner there and support FTB at the same time! There is also a special deal: $10.00 gets a large pizza, crazy bread, and 2-liter soda!


The FTB Theatre Department had an amazing field trip last Friday to go see Wicked at the Kennedy Center!





Checkout some of the fun times our choir had at the FTB Winter Choir Concert last Thursday. These are from the Culpeper Christmas Parade, Culpeper Retired Teachers Luncheon, and the School Board Performance.



For our final day of Spirit Week, FTB students and staff wore ugly sweaters. Staff members even had an ugly sweater contest! So who do you think won?





The FTBMS Winter Choir Concert will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 6:00 pm in the EVHS Auditorium. Choir students should arrive at 5:00 pm and wear their choir t-shirt and black pants. Admission is free. There is the possibility of winter weather this week, so our Snow Date for the concert will be Monday, December, 19, 2022 with the same times.

Due to the winter weather advisory, CCPS will open 2 hours late on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Twelve month employees report two hours late, essential personnel report on time.
We will monitor weather and road conditions and revise our inclement weather status if necessary. Any status change will be made no later than 7 a.m.


Students and staff dressed like the Gingerbread Men, Snowmen, or characters from The Grinch today for Spirit Week. There was even a Cindy Lou Who!
