Culpeper County Public Schools (CCPS) proudly showcased the creativity and talent of its students during the 22nd Annual CCPS Art Show, held Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 3 to 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Germanna Daniel Technology Center.
The annual event featured a wide range of student artwork from across the division, including drawings, paintings, sculptures, mixed media pieces, and more. Families, staff, and community members attended throughout the weekend to celebrate the artistic achievements of CCPS students.
One of the top honors of the show, Best in Show, was awarded to Eastern View High School junior Piper Lenon for a striking charcoal portrait that demonstrated exceptional technical skill and emotional depth.
Across multiple categories, students earned recognition for their outstanding work. In Paintings, Karla Martinez (Eastern View High School) earned first place, followed by Marley Kidd (Eastern View High School) and Adrianna Falcinelli (Culpeper County High School). In Colored Pencil, Adrianna Falcinelli (Culpeper County High School) earned first place, with Andy Harrold (Eastern View High School) and Karla Martinez (Eastern View High School) placing second and third.
The Mixed Media categories also showcased strong talent, with Reese Kroboth (Eastern View High School) earning first place in Mixed Media – 2 Materials, and Alexandra Anderson Rendon (Culpeper County High School) taking first in Mixed Media – 3 and More. In Watercolor, Karla Martinez (Eastern View High School) earned first place, followed by Alexandra Anderson Rendon (Culpeper County High School) and Sofia Dodson (Eastern View High School).
In three-dimensional work, Adrianna Falcinelli (Culpeper County High School) earned first place in Crafts – 3D, while Alisson Ventura (Eastern View High School) earned top honors in both Crafts – 2D and Ceramics, highlighting her versatility as an artist.
Additional category winners included Andy Harrold (Eastern View High School), who earned first place in Perspective, Pastels, and Portrait Drawing, and Aimee Mangampat (Culpeper County High School), who earned first place in Portrait Painting. In Landscapes, Ryder Tolley (Culpeper County High School) earned first place, while Laci McGreeen (Eastern View High School) earned top honors in Pen and Ink.
Student artists from across grade levels were also recognized in categories such as Oil Pastels, where Sophia Galvez Huaman (Culpeper County High School) earned first place, and Printmaking, where Piper Lenon (Eastern View High School) added to her accolades with a first-place finish. In Fiber Arts, Blanca Diaz Mercado (Phoenix Alternative Education Program) earned first place.
In addition to the division-wide awards, several CCPS students were recognized as winners in the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) Art Show, highlighting their work at the regional level. Representing CCPS were:
