
So many thanks to our PAC committee for such amazing PBIS celebrations over the past two days! Games, prizes, fun and smiles abound!




Today, Mrs. McFarland's 1st Grade students used highlighters to highlight the spelling feature for this week. They were so excited to use highlighters!




For Read Across America with Miss Epstein's kindergarten reading class, Mrs. Adkins visited to read the book "Bartholomew and the Oobleck", which was followed up of course by making oobleck! What fun! Hustle and Heart Set Us Apart!





Just a reminder that we have Family Fun Night tonight here at AG from 5:30-7:00. All students and families are welcome to attend!

4th graders continue to work through the data cycle, from deciding how to collect data to showing the data in multiple representations and then analyzing the data, hustle and heart set us apart!!



To go along with Read Across America activities this month, Ms. Ciccarone's 3rd graders are reading by flashlight during DEAR time.

For national reading month, Mrs. Aylor and Mrs. White's language arts classes dedicate time to read - this time, in the hallway as a group! Hustle and Heart Set Us Apart!



AGR 4th graders work together to categorize data as they kick off their graphing unit!




Thanks to the Culpeper Library (youth services), AGR 5th graders are able to enjoy snap circuit kits this week. Applying what they know, students build almost endless amounts of projects that light up, make sound, or spin motors. Pictured is Mr. Berger's class from today.

AGR Reading Specialist Mrs. Baird dressed up with Savannah from Mrs. White's 2nd Grade class to kick off Read Across America festivities, which continue throughout the month, including Reading Night on March 21st, and Spirit Week starting on March 18.

Mr. Downs presented to the Culpeper Rotary club today today about the AGR afterschool program, BAM.



A shockingly fun lesson in Mr. Berger's fifth grade class today - students used balloons and various materials to explore static electricity!





These three 5th Grade boys in Mrs. Sheads' class have spent their indoor recess time amping up more power to the fan by experimenting with different circuits, connectors, and switches! Each class next week in 5th Grade will use these kits, loaned by the Culpeper Library.


Ms.C's 3rd Grade class is working on probability with Skittles and having fun while working hard! Hustle and Heart Set Us Apart!





AGR PE will be hosting a Family Fitness and Fun night next Thursday, March 7th, from 5:30-7:00pm in the Gym and Cafeteria. We hope to see you there!
